POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - The No. 14-ranked IU Southeast Grenadiers struggled offensively early and never recovered as they fell to No. 3 seed Davenport (Mi.) on Friday night.

Brice Mitchell, in his final collegiate game, led IU Southeast with 12 points and four rebounds.  Darryl Bell had seven points and led IU Southeast with five assists in his final collegiate action.

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - The No. 14-ranked IU Southeast men's basketball team overcame a poor shooting night from the field to defeat the University of Saint Mary (Kansas) 76-66 to advance to a second round matchup with No. 3 seed Davenport (Mich.).

Brice Mitchell led the way with 20 points. Most of those points came at the free throw line where he made 14-16 shots.   The Grenadiers shot 27-33 from the line (82 percent) for the game which was the deciding factor in the game.

Jake Simpson had a solid game with 15 points and seven rebounds.  Darryl Bell had 13 points off the bench and scored all of those in the second half.

NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast men's basketball team will host a spring break basketball camp from March 26-30 in the Activities Building on the campus of Indiana University Southeast.  The camp is for children from K-8.  IU Southeast coaches and players will run the clinic.  The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The No. 14-ranked IU Southesat men's basketbal teaml will face Saint Mary (Kansas) in the opening round of the 2012 NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship on Thursday, March 8 at 6:45 p.m. ET.

Saint Mary is 25-5 on the season and 14-3 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.  The Spires lost in the KCAC championship to McPherson 86-79

The Grenadiers (27-5) are the No. 14 seed in the tournament.
