KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The IU Southeast women's tennis program earned a No. 23 national ranking in the NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Preseason Poll as announced Tuesday by the NAIA national office. The IU Southeast women's tennis team is currently 10-2 overall and an undefeated 8-0 in the KIAC. The Grenadiers will begin the spring portion of their season on April 3 when they host Centre College at 10 a.m. in New Albany.

Six-time defending national champion Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) is named No. 1 in the NAIA Top 25 Preseason Poll. The Lady Senators have been ranked at the top of the poll for 41 consecutive ratings, dating back to Feb. 11, 2004.

RICHMOND, Ky. - The IU Southeast women's tennis team captured the 2009-10 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) Women's Tennis Championship on Saturday (Oct. 3) morning. The Grenadiers (10-2, 8-0 KIAC) defeated Brescia University 5-3 to win the championship at the Eastern Kentucky University indoor tennis center in Richmond, Ky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - IU Southeast junior tennis player Brooklyn Becher has been named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week for September 28 - October 4.

Becher is a 5-foot-2 junior from Jasper, Ind. (Jasper High School). Last week Becher won six matches, all against KIAC opponents. She also only dropped two games in six sets of singles play. This is the second consecutive week Becher has earned this conference honor.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - IU Southeast junior tennis player Brooklyn Becher has been named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week for September 21 - September 27.

Becher is a 5-foot-2 junior from Jasper, Ind. (Jasper High School). Last week Becher won both of her single and double matches against NCAA Division II University of Southern Indiana. Becher won 6-3, 6-1 in singles and 8-4 in her team's doubles match.
