NEW ALBANY, Ind. (Match Results) - The Indiana University Southeast men's tennis team could not have started its spring season any better. On Friday (3/20), the Grenadiers defeated Berea College 9-0 to remain undefeated in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) with a 2-0 conference record.

Last week, IU Southeast defeated Brescia University 5-4 at the University of Louisville Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. Brescia is currently ranked 2nd in the region and is the only KIAC team receiving votes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll. New rankings will be released from the NAIA on Monday, March 23.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- IU Southeast completed the 2009 ITA Midwest Regional at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio on Saturday.
 
Lauren Becher and Abby Enteman advanced to the consolation doubles championship match before being defeated in a close match 8-6 to a team from Taylor University.
 
Becher also had some success in singles play. She earned a spot in the consolation singles semi-finals before falling 6-2, 6-1 to Andrea Meyering (5-8 seed) from Indiana Wesleyan.
