IU Southeast was 2-0 last week. In a conference
battle at home on January 3, the Grenadiers defeated Indiana
University East 107-92. Watson led IU Southeast to the win with 35 points, seven
rebounds, four assists, and three steals. He made 78.9 percent of his field goal
attempts (15-of-19).
IU Southeast finished the week with an 86-71 win against
Alice Lloyd College on the road. Watson scored 19 points to go along with seven
rebounds and two blocks. For the week, the senior forward shot 77.8 percent from
the field (21-of-27) and made 84.6 percent of his free throw attempts
(11-of-13). He leads IU Southeast in points per game with an average of 15.82.
The Grenadiers are 12-6 overall and 2-0 in conference play. They will return to action on Tuesday when they host Brescia University for a conference game.

NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The No. 25-ranked IU Southeast men's basketball team jumped out to a large lead in the first half and did not look back, defeating the No. 8 IU East Red Wolves 107-92 to open conference play on Tuesday night in the Activities Building.
Senior Antoine Watson had another huge game. The reigning KIAC Player of the Week scored 35 points on 15 of 19 shooting, one game after scoring 36 points against St. Catharine on Saturday.
The Grenadiers (11-6, 1-0 KIAC) shot a sparkling 71 percent in the first half from the field, 50 percent from three-point range. IU Southeast led 56-39 at halftime.

NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast Grenadiers pounded the University of the Cumberlands Patriots 90-61 on Saturday afternoon behind Antoine Watson's 36 points.
Antoine Watson had a huge first half for IU Southeast. He had 27 points, five rebounds and four assists in the opening half to help IU Southeast jump out to a double-digit lead.
The second half saw a more balanced scoring attack from IU Southeast. Four more Grenadiers finished in double-figures: Brice Mitchell had 14, Kegan Clark, Spencer Allman, and Wes Cox all had 11 points.
