With a strong background in music theater, Lori brings some exciting ideas to the dance team. In addition to attending NDA camp with the team, she will be returning to ballet classes after a VERY long hiatus and is looking forward to working closely with the new assistants. She continues to coach a local middle and high school dance team and will be starting her third year here at IU Southeast. Lori enjoys all dance styles and hopes to showcase a lot of variety in this year's half-time routines.

Welcome Vanna Jones, one of our new technique instructors and choreographers.

Vanna has been dancing since age five and is an alumnus of Southern Indiana School of the Arts. She attended Joffrey Midwest's ballet intensive program in Flint Michigan and danced at the pre-professional level. Vanna also attended Ohio State University's summer intensive and Point Park where she danced classical ballet, contemporary ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and salsa.She has received various dance scholarships. During high school, Vanna was a member of the Silver Starz dance team for three years.She coached Encore Fusion for one year and is currently a substitute ballet and jazz teacher with Southern Indiana School of the Arts.

Welcome Jesica McCollum, one of our new technique instructors and choreographers.

Jessica graduated from Jeffersonville High Schoolin 2001 where she was a cheeleader and part of the gymnastics team for four years. She is an IU Southeast graduate and graduated in 2006 with a degree in nursing. While at Southeast, she was a member of the Red Edition Dance Team for four years and was named captain her last year on the team. She is a former coach/choreographer of Silver Creek Middle School and Silver Creek High School dance teams. Jessica trained in classical ballet, tap, and jazz at Encore Performing Arts for eight yearsand Weber School of Dance for four years. She also trained as a competitive gymnast for eight years at SIGS.
