Wiley Brown enters his fifth season as head coach for the men's basketball program at Indiana University Southeast. During his time at the helm of the program, Brown has led the Grenadiers to four consecutive appearances in the NAIA National Tournament.

Brown has also led his teams to four consecutive KIAC Conference Championships. With a 98-33(.748) overall coaching record, Brown was named the 2010 KIAC Men's Basketball Coach of the Year.

In 2011, the Grenadiers won both the regular season and conference tournament championships before losing to Iowa Wesleyan in the first round of the NAIA National Tournament.

Brown led the Grenadiers to their most historic season ever in 2010. The Grenadiers achieved their highest NAIA national ranking in the history of IU Southeast Athletics and advanced to the NAIA Elite Eight for the first time.

A starting forward on the NCAA Division I National Champion basketball team at the University of Louisville in 1980 and a member of the 1982 Final Four team, Brown previously served in multiple capacities in the University of Louisville athletic department for the past 15 years. Brown served as strength and conditioning coordinator under both former Louisville Hall of Fame Head Coach Denny Crum and current Louisville Head Coach Rick Pitino for a total of 13 years.

In 2003, Brown served as an interim assistant coach for the Louisville men's basketball program. Beginning in 2005, Brown served Louisville Athletic Director Tom Jurich as the assistant director of outreach and most recently as the director of community enrichment. During that time he managed fundraising efforts for outreach programs throughout greater Louisville and directed the CARDSfit program.

Brown is no stranger to playing at a competitive level. As a player at Louisville, Brown posted career totals of 699 points, 407 rebounds and 121 assists, helping the Cardinals to a combined 101-30 four-year record.

After finishing his successful collegiate basketball playing career, Brown joined the National Football League (NFL) where he played defensive end for two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. During his time with the Eagles' organization, Brown played under the direction of Dick Vermeil and Marion Campbell.

After his brief stint in the NFL, Brown returned to basketball. For seven years Brown played professional basketball in the International Federation of Basketball where he traveled throughout the world. Brown spent one year with the CBA Louisville Catbirds and the remaining six years in
Spain, France, and Italy.

A native of Sylvester, Ga., Brown kept a promise to his mother by earning his bachelor's degree in 1992 from the University of Louisville. He majored in communications, health education and Pan African studies. He was twice named to the U of L honor roll. He and his wife, Anne-Marie, reside in Louisville and have one son, Caleb.

Brad Zellner returns for his second stint as assistant men's basketball coach at Indiana University Southeast. Zellner joins the Grenadiers after serving as the head men's basketball coach at Miami University Hamilton.

While at Miami University Hamilton, Zellner had to recruit an entire team with only two returning players in four weeks before the school year began. By the end of the year, the Harriers were peaking at the right time, winning eight of their last 10 games and finishing runner-up in the end of the year state tournament.

Coach Zellner also spent four seasons as assistant men's basketball coach at IU Southeast from 2000-2004. The team enjoyed success quickly after winning only six games the year before he got to campus. While at IU Southeast, Zellner helped lead IU Southeast to a NAIA National Tournament appearance; three Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) regular season titles, one conference tournament championship and one-second place finish in the conference tournament. His primary duties at IU Southeast included working with perimeter players, serving as recruiting director and coordinating summer basketball camps.

Prior to his first stint at IU Southeast, Coach Zellner was a student at Eastern Kentucky University where he earned his B.A. in History in 2000. Coach Zellner spent his college years as a student manager for the men's basketball team and handled administrative duties for the Colonial basketball team. He has also worked numerous summer basketball camps at colleges that include Eastern Kentucky University, University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, Northern Kentucky University and The Ohio State University.
