The Grenadiers were led by freshman Kortney Woods (Louisville, Ky.) who scored 14 points with eight rebounds and three blocks. Senior Whitney Duncan (Louisville, Ky.) scored 13 points with five assists and a steal. Four Grenadiers scored in double-digits, but it did not prove enough to hold off Virginia-Wise.
