WILMORE, Ky. - The IU Southeast volleyball team will be a No. 2-seed in this weekend's Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) Volleyball Tournament at Asbury College in Wilmore, Ky.

Under first year Head Coach Lesley Drury-Prather, the Grenadiers finished the regular season with a 22-11 overall record. The team finished 7-1 in the KIAC with its lone loss coming to IU East last weekend in Richmond.

IU Southeast will face No. 7 Brescia University (3-19, 2-6 KIAC) at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13 in the tournament quarterfinals.

 
IU Southeast defeated Brescia at home 3-0 back on October 6 during the regular season. With a win, IU Southeast will compete at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14 against the winner of Midway College and tournament host Asbury College.

The winner of the KIAC Tournament will earn an automatic bid to the 30th Annual NAIA Volleyball National Championship Presented by Siouxland Sports Medicine Foundation. The national tournament will be held at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa.
