NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast volleyball team got back on track after dropping its last two matches, defeating Spalding 3-0 Thursday night.
Jade Troutman and Coral Maybriar combined for 29 of the Grenadiers 47 kills in the match. Troutman had 15 kills and Maybriar had 14. Sara Schum had six kills and Lindsey Maymon added five.
Meaghen Tompkins had a match-high 33 assists for IU Southeast.
The Grenadiers' (8-7, 4-2 KIAC) had a solid hitting percentage of .327 in the match.
Spalding's Elisa Burkman had a match-high 16 kills for the Golden Eagles who dropped to 3-11.
The Grenadiers return to action on Tuesday, October 2 when they host Berea at 7 p.m.
