NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast baseball field at the Koetter Sports Complex is undergoing extensive infield renovations and upgrades during the fall in preparation for the Grenadiers' 2013 season.
The infield is undergoing a major renovation for the first time. This includes laser grading to level it and expanding the irrigation system into foul territory. The field will also have an improved drainage system and will be crowned to help water flow off the playing surface.
The pitcher's mound will be completely rebuilt and the infield will get new dirt. New sod will be installed as well.
