NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast women's tennis team opens the home portion of its schedule on Sunday against Berea College at 10 a.m.

The Grenadiers (1-3, 1-0 KIAC) defeated Berea 9-0 in both meetings last season.

IU Southeast is coming off a 1-2 weekend.  The team defeated KIAC rival Brescia 6-3 last Saturday before dropping matches to Franklin College and Rose-Hulman on Sunday 5-4 and 6-3, respectively.

Freshman Maddie Ikerd picked up singles victories in each match last weekend.  She also won two out of three doubles matches with partner Ashley Bunch.

The Grenadiers host KIAC newcomer Carlow College next Saturday at 10 a.m. and Bellarmine University on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m.
