NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The Indiana University Southeast volleyball team defeated Lindsey Wilson College 3-1 on Tuesday night in New Albany.

IU Southeast defeated the Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-17. The first set was highly contested as Lindsey Wilson (0-2) and IU Southeast traded points in a tight set. The Grenadiers could not hold off the charging Blue Raiders who won the first set after going on a run.

The Grenadiers regained momentum in the second set and never looked back, eventually taking the 3-1 match victory.

The IU Southeast volleyball team is now 4-2 (.667) overall and 1-0 in the KIAC after tonight's victory over Lindsey Wilson.

The Grenadiers next regular season match will take place this Thursday night (Sept. 3) against Campbellsville University (4-1) at 7 p.m. in the Southeast Activities Building on the New Albany campus.

Tickets for the match are $7 for adults. Students, faculty and staff of IU Southeast can gain free admission to all IU Southeast athletic events with UCard.

Due to continued restoration efforts on the Southeast Activities Building after a summer storm displaced athletic department offices, all fans attending the game on Thursday (Sept. 3) are asked to enter the gym at the east ground (gym) level.
