LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The 2009 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) Fall Preseason Coaches' polls were released on Wednesday for the six sports sponsored in the season. The votes are from KIAC head coach responses for regular season finish of the teams.

The nine team volleyball conference had the top four separated by four votes. Asbury, IU East, Mountain State and IU Southeast would be seeded in that order 1-4 if the voting holds true by coaches' preseason voting. All four made the conference semifinals in the 2008 conference tournament.

The Grenadiers welcome new Head Coach Lesley Drury Prather as she begins her first season at the helm of the volleyball program. IU Southeast is returning six players from last year's team.

IU Southeast opens its regular season on Saturday, August 21 when the team takes on Cedarville University and IU East in the first day of the Grace College Classic in Winona Lake, Ind.

The first IU Southeast home match is set for Wednesday, August 26 when the Grenadiers take on Asbury College at 7 p.m.
