NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast basketball teams opened their seasons on Thursday night with the annual Crimson and Cream game.
The women's team scrimmage next with
Ashmere Woods picking up where she left off last season and newcomer
Brooke Willoughby showed off her offensive skills. Willoughby hit multiple three-pointers and was impressive off the dribble.
Next, the high flyers took the court from the men's team.
Antoine Watson jumped over a teammate to take the victory in that event.
The IU Southeat women tip off their season in Ft. Wayne against St. Francis on November 4. The men also begin their season on Nov. 4-5 in the Joe B. and Denny Classic. The Grenadiers host Mid- Continent at 8 p.m. on Nov. 4 and Miami-Hamilton on Nov. 5 at 3 p.m.
