NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast volleyball team will
take on conference rivals Mountain State and No. 22-ranked IU East on Friday night
in the Southeast Activities Building.
The Grenadiers (5-6) will face Mountain State at 5 pm on
Friday and IU East at approximately 7 pm.
Mountain State (4-6/1-1 KIAC) lost a home match to Concord
College 3-1 on Tuesday night. The
Grenadiers last match was a loss to Rose-Hulman on September 1st in
Terre Haute.
IU Southeast and Mountain State met twice last season with
IU Southeast picking up victories in both matches. The Grenadiers defeated the Cougars 3-0 on
Sept. 25 and on Nov. 12 they won 3-0 in the KIAC Tournament.
No.22 IU East (9-1) has not played since August 31 when they
defeated Northwestern Ohio 3-0. The
Grenadiers and Red Wolves have already met once this season with IU East
picking up the 3-1 victory in the Grace College Ramada Plaza Tournament.
Ticket prices for the event are $7 for adult general
admission and free of charge for children 10 years old or younger. IU Southeast
Faculty, Staff and Students will be admitted FREE of charge with UCARD.
