NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- Beau Manning, who played at Christian Academy and IU Southeast, was selected to the Continental Baseball League All-Star Game on July 7 in Alexandria, La.

Manning, a second baseman for the professional independent-league Big Bend Cowboys in Alpine, Texas, is hitting .312 and has struck out just four times in 77 at-bats.
