NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast softball team will host an alumni game on Saturday, October 2 at the Koetter Sports Softball Complex on campus. The game is set to begin at 11 a.m. in New Albany.

Any former IU Southeast softball players are invited to participate in the game. For more information and to sign up, former players should contact Grenadier Head Coach Todd Buckingham at 812-661-9068.

IU Southeast finished last season with a 33-15 overall record. The 2010 Grenadier squad tied the school record for most wins in a season with 33 (2008).

The IU Southeast softball program finished 17-1 in the KIAC, winning the regular-season conference crown.

The Grenadiers also won the 2010 KIAC Softball Tournament which gave them their second ever bid to the NAIA Softball National Tournament.
