Plans for the future?
My plans are to get a job as a special education teacher and to coach high school softball.

Why did you choose to go to IU Southeast?
I choose IU Southeast because it allowed me the opportunity to play close to home and to continue my career with Brooke Martin and her dad who I have played with/been coached by since I was seven years old. Once the opportunity was there, I couldn't pass it up.

What has been your favorite memory from college?
All the memories I have made with the people in my cohort in the education program. I made two lifelong best friends and many other friends. They really helped get me through the program.

What has been your favorite memory from your career as an athlete?
I have a lot of memories from softball but here at IU Southeast. Making it to nationals my sophomore and senior year were great, especially my senior year. It was also neat that I was a part of the first ever softball team here as a freshman. Getting my jersey retired this year is also at the top of the list as my favorite memory.

What drives you as an athlete?
I know I have a lot of younger kids who look up to me so I always want to do my best. I have also been overlooked a lot in my life so I love trying to go out there and prove people wrong.

What is a talent outside of your sport that you posses?
I would say working with special needs kids.

What is something very few people know about you?
Very few people know that I was adopted.
