NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The Indiana University Southeast softball team will try to pick up where they left off last weekend as the KIAC Softball Tournament resumes on Friday in Owensboro, Ky.

The tournament was rained out last weekend after the first day of competition and was rescheduled for this upcoming Friday. IU Southeast will take on Asbury College at 1 p.m. on Friday (5/7) at Kamuf Park in Owensboro, Ky.

If the Grenadiers win, they will have to take on the winner of Asbury vs. the winner between Berea and Brescia from the loser's side of the bracket at 7 p.m. in the KIAC Championship game.

If the Grenadiers would fall in the first championship match, then another game would need to be played to determine the conference tournament champion under the double-elimination format.

The Eagles of Asbury enter the game with a 24-9 overall record. Asbury finished in second place in the regular season conference standings with a 16-4 record against KIAC opponents.

The Grenadiers are currently 31-12 overall this season and won the KIAC Regular Season Title with a 17-1 conference record.

Game 9: Winner of Game 8 vs. Loser from Game 7
Game 10: Winner of Game 7 vs. Winner of Game 9 - Championship Match
Game 11: (Game Played If Necessary for Double Elimination)
