LOUISVILLE, Ky. - IU Southeast sophomore Kayla Duke has been named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for April 12 - April 18. This is the third time Duke has won the conference pitcher of the week award this season.

Duke is a sophomore pitcher and outfielder from Louisville, Ky. Duke attended Male High School in Louisville before attending IU Southeast. Duke held earned runs to only four in 15 innings of work spread over three games last week. Duke was 2-1 on the week. Both of her wins were complete games with eight strikeouts a piece. Duke finished the week with 18 strikeouts and a 1.87 ERA.
