FRANKFORT, Ky. - Members of the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) All-Conference team were announced Friday at the KIAC Basketball Tournament in Frankfort, Ky. The players and coaches' of the year were chosen by balloting from KIAC head coaches.

Mikah Turner of Berea College and Whitney Duncan of Indiana University Southeast won the top player of the year awards. IU Southeast women's coach Robin Farris was named KIAC Women's Basketball Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year while IU Southeast men's coach Wiley Brown was chosen as KIAC Men's Basketball Coach of the Year for the first time in his coaching career. 

Six of the conference's eight women's basketball teams are represented on the 10 player all-conference squad. Indiana University Southeast and Brescia each had two named, while Asbury, Alice Lloyd, Cincinnati Christian, and St. Louis College of Pharmacy all had one.

The IU Southeast men had three players voted to the all-conference team, while Brescia and Berea each had two players honored. Alice Lloyd, Asbury, and Indiana University East men also had a men's player representing them on the team.
