NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast volleyball team pushed its winning streak to four games with a 25-9, 25-17, 25-18 sweep of Cincinnati Christian on Tuesday.

The Grenadiers (4-11, 1-1 RSC) jumped out to a quick lead behind the strong serve of junior Maddie Jacobi. She had four of her career-high five aces in the first set and helped the Grenadiers jump out to a 9-0 lead. IU Southeast would cruise to a 25-9 first-set win behind a balanced attack from Parker Andres, Monica Loftus and Kelsey Willinger.

The Grenadiers hit .429 in the opening set and committed just four attack errors.

Andres led the Grenadiers with 11 kills in the match. Monica Loftus had nine, Danielle Meyer added eight.

Reigning RSC Setter of the Week Hannah Sipe had 31 assists.

IU Southeast trailed 11-9 in the second set before closing on a 16-6 run to take the set.

In the third, the Grenadiers led 24-13 but the Eagles tried to rally late with five-straight points before Loftus put the match away with a kill.

IU Southeast travels to Brescia University Saturday where they will face West Virginia Tech and Rio Grande and 1 and 3 p.m.
