NEW ALBANY, Ind. - IU Southeast pitcher Emily Gray was named the River States Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second time, the conference announced today.

Gray, a Jeffersonville High School product, surrendered two runs in 13 innings last week as the Grenadiers went 3-1. IU Southeast split a doubleheader with Point Park before sweeping Carlow on Saturday. She earned the victory in relief in game two of the doubleheader against Point Park, working three and two-thirds and allowing two runs on seven hits. She also got a win after hurling five and third shutout innings in the Grenadiers' 6-4 win over Carlow. She struck out three in the win.

Gray also pitched in relief for four innings in game two against Carlow and allowed five hits and no runs.

She leads the Grenadiers and ranks third in the RSC with 11 wins. She ranks No. 7 in the RSC with a 2.56 ERA.

IU Southeast (24-19) will face Cincinnati Christian at noon on Friday to open the River States Conference Tournament.
