ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. - The IU Southeast men's and women's tennis teams begin their quest for a conference tournament championship on Friday morning in the quarterfinals of the River States Conference Tennis Championships.
The RSC tennis championships are being played a two facilities in Elizabethtown, Ky., depending on the match. The Freeman Lake Tennis Complex is the site of eight of the 11 matches, including the semifinals and finals of both the men's and women's draws. Some early round matches in both genders will be played at the University Drive Park courts.

The IU Southeast men's team (13-11, 3-2 RSC) is the No. 3 seed in the tournament. The Grenadiers will take on No. 6 Alice Lloyd at 11 a.m. at University Park. IU Southeast defeated the Eagles 9-0 on April 9.
The No. 2 seeded Grenadier women will face No. 7 Ohio Christian at 8 a.m. at Freeman Lake. IU Southeast (11-10, 5-1 RSC) defeated the Trailblazers 9-0 on March 16.

RSC MEN'S TENNIS TOURNAMENT PREVIEW:
(RV) Asbury University is the No. 1 seed in the men's draw with a record of 14-1 overall and unbeaten 5-0 RSC. The Eagles have a bye in the first round and have their first match Friday at 3 p.m. ET, where they will face the winner of No. 4 Brescia University (6-6, 3-2 RSC) versus No. 5 Ohio Christian (1-10, 1-4 RSC), a first-round match that starts at 11 a.m. ET.
No. 2 seed IU East (11-13, 3-2 RSC) also has a bye in the first round, and the Red Wolves have their first match Friday at 3 p.m. ET in the semifinals. IU East awaits the winner of the other first-round match, which pits No. 3 IU Southeast (13-10, 3-2 RSC) versus No. 6 Alice Lloyd (0-7, 0-5 RSC) at 11 a.m. ET.
The RSC Men's Tennis Tournament championship match is scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. ET at the Freeman Lake Courts. The tournament format has six teams and single elimination. The tournament champion will receive the conference's automatic qualification to the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship May 16-20 in Mobile, Ala.
RSC WOMEN'S TENNIS TOURNAMENT PREVIEW:
(RV) Asbury University went undefeated in RSC play and takes a record of 10-3 overall and 6-0 RSC into the conference tournament as the No. 1 seed. The Eagles have the only bye in the draw and play their first match Friday at 12 p.m. ET, which is the semifinal round. Asbury will face the winner of the first-round match between No. 4 Midway University (6-7, 3-3 RSC) and No. 5 Carlow University (2-5, 2-4 RSC), a match that begins at 8 a.m. ET.
No. 2 seed IU Southeast (11-16, 5-1 RSC0 had its only loss to Asbury this year. The Grenadiers play No. 7 Ohio Christian (0-14, 0-6 RSC) in the first round Friday at 8 a.m. ET. The other first-round match features No. 3 IU East (13-9, 4-2 RSC) versus No. 6 Alice Lloyd College (3-6, 1-5 RSC), also at 8 a.m. The IU Southeast-OCU winner will face the IU East-Alice Lloyd winner in the semifinals on Friday at 12 p.m.
The RSC Women's Tennis Tournament championship round is scheduled for Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Freeman Lake Courts. The tournament format is six teams and single-elimination.
