NEW ALBANY, Ind. - Hamilton Heights' senior Kenna Burman has signed to play volleyball at IU Southeast, head coach Eric Brian announced today.

From the Hamilton Heights release: A four-year letterman, Burman has made valuable contributions as an outside hitter helping the Lady Huskies to the Mid-Indiana Conference (MIC) Championship in 2013.  Burman earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention as a freshman; named to Hamilton County's All-Conference 2nd and All-County 2nd Teams; and Hamilton County's All-Conference and All-County 1st Teams her junior and senior years.  In addition, she was invited to the Indiana North/South All-Star tryouts her junior and senior years. 

"From my very first visit to IU Southeast, I knew this was going to be my home away from home for the next four years," Burman said in the release.   "IU Southeast seemed to be an overall perfect fit for me. The campus is just what I was looking for and the volleyball program is great.  I am excited to play for Coach Eric Brian."  

"Kenna is a great defensive player and an even better person," Brian said. "We are excited to have her join us this fall!"

Burman is planning on majoring in elemetary education or travel and tourism management.
