NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Three Grenadier pitchers combined for a one-hit shutout over Spalding on Tuesday.

The Grenadiers (17-18) did not allow a Spalding player to reach second in the game. Becca Schoenung worked the first two innings and struck out three and walked one. Emily Weiss (5-4) worked the next three innings and got the win and surrendered one hit while striking out a pair and walking one. Emily Gray worked two perfect innings and struck out two.

IU Southeast got on the board in the third inning. Clara Shean singled and stole second. She scored on a single from Kyndyl Olds. Later in the inning, Justice Kline hit a two-run single to make it 3-0.

In the fourth, Schoenung led off with a single, stole second and scored on an RBI single from Kaylin Klosterman.

Justice Kline, Kyndyl Olds, Becca Schoenung and Clara Shean each had two hits in the win.

IU Southeast travels to Ohio Christian on Friday.
