NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Jocelyn Mousty and Madi Woods each had 14 points and a tough Grenadier defense helped IU Southeast jump out to a double-digit lead early as IU Southeast defeated Alice Lloyd Tuesday night.

The Grenadiers (13-12, 8-7 RSC) shot 45 percent from the field for the game and were 7-of-19 (37 percent) from behind-the-arc.

IU Southeast forced 11 Alice Lloyd turnovers in the second half to help pull away. The Grenadiers scored 21 point off turnovers and outscored the Eagles 38-24 in the paint.

The IU Southeast depth was on display as the Grenadier bench outscored the Eagles 37-11.

The Grenadiers led 32-22 at halftime and held Alice Lloyd to just eight points in the second quarter.

IU Southeast travels to Berea College Thursday at 6 p.m.
