CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Two teams in playoff positioning square off for the River States Conference Men's Basketball Game of the Week as this week's edition features (RV) IU Southeast (18-4, 12-1 RSC) at Cincinnati Christian (8-16, 5-7 RSC) on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 3 p.m. ET.

IU Southeast, ranked just outside the NAIA Division II Top 25 Poll and receiving votes at No. 26 overall, are leading the RSC West Division by 5.0 games and in control of the top playoff seeding in its half of the conference.

Cincinnati Christian enters the weekend ahold of the fourth-and-final playoff spot out of the division and is one of the several teams vying for postseason qualification behind the Grenadiers.

IU Southeast has won eight in a row, including an 89-76 win over CCU at home in the previous meeting between these teams this year. A victory at CCU Saturday would clinch the division for the Grenadiers. IU Southeast's offense has scored more than 100 points five times this season, and its defense leads the conference in field-goal percentage allowed at .364.

Cincinnati Christian has won two in a row to get back in the right direction and at 5-7 RSC. The Eagles had a long road trip earlier in January that had them fall back in the standings. CCU is coming off a 105-80 win over Brescia on Tuesday. Before that, the Eagles beat Rio Grande, 95-72, last Saturday.
