NEW ALBANY, Ind. – IU Southeast pushed its winning streak to eight-straight games with a 92-78 win over IU Kokomo Tuesday.

The Grenadiers (18-4, 12-1 RSC) doubled up the Cougars in the paint 48-24. Robert Sawyer led IU Southeast with 21 points and added 10 rebounds. Jamie Johnson had 13 points. Joe Jackson had 12 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks and Tyler Landry had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

IU Southeast led 42-36 at halftime and used a 16-4 run to pull away in the second half.

The Grenadiers outscored IU Kokomo 25-8 in bench points.

Trent Elliott had 31 points for the Cougars, who had three double-figure scorers.

IU Southeast heads to Cincinnati Christian Saturday at 3 p.m.
