NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- The top two teams in the River States Conference West Division standings square off for the RSC Men's Basketball Game of the Week when Cincinnati Christian visits IU Southeast on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 3 p.m. ET in New Albany, Ind.

The weekend gets started for CCU on Friday night at Brescia with the first leg of its weekend road trip. Then the Eagles (6-11, 3-2 RSC) visit IU Southeast (12-4, 6-1 RSC) on Saturday for a key game at the top of the divisional standings.

IU Southeast leads the nation in field-goal percentage defense at .362 and ranks 10th nationally in scoring defense at 69.8 ppg. Both of those lead the River States Conference. The Grenadiers also bring three double-digit scorers to the table with starting guards Jamie Johnson (15.1 ppg) and Demetrius Stanton (13.4 ppg) and guard Joe Ferree.

The Grenadiers are just outside this week's NAIA Division II Top 25 Poll and are receiving votes at No. 28 overall. IU Southeast lost at WVU Tech last Friday to have its Top 25 spot go to the Golden Bears but rebounded with two straight road wins to follow that up.

Cincinnati Christian has won its last three conference games to recover from an 0-2 RSC start. The Eagles have had those three straight wins come a home, including their last game, a 112-83 win over Point Park Jan. 3.

Blake Walsman is a 6-7 forward who leads CCU with 16.0 ppg and 8.3 rpg. Nick Seibert comes in at 15.2 ppg and 91 percent from the foul line as a player who eclipsed 1,000 career points in the last outing.
